The successful candidate will establish a new bio-transformation/fermentation research programme focussed on optimising the malting/distilling of native grains that delivers added-value to the Irish tillage sector.

Based at the newly established brewing and distilling hub, the successful candidate will establish their own research group by defining an innovative research strategy and acquiring physical and human resources through internal/external funding.
