The Geneva School of Health Sciences (HEdS-Geneva) is part of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland (HES-SO). The HEdS-Geneva is the largest health school in French- speaking Switzerland and the only one to bring together five departments: Nutrition and Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Midwifery, Nursing and Medical Radiology Technology. The HEdS-Geneva trains highly qualified healthcare professionals capable of meeting the demands of today's and tomorrow's health care practice and also offers a wide range of continuing education programs. Along with professional education, the HEdS-Geneva conducts high-level research and provides acknowledged health services.
In the framework of its Bachelor’s, Master’s, postgraduate and continuous training programs in physiotherapy, the HEdS is seeking a professor, expert in the musculoskeletal field with a minimum of 5 years of expertise, who will be entrusted with developing applied research in his/her area of expertise and with transmitting the knowledge acquired in his/her teaching.
You possess a PhD (or equivalent) in the musculoskeletal field, you hold a Bachelor’s (BSc) and a Master’s degree (MSc) in physiotherapy and you have professional expertise in the musculoskeletal field. You have a proven pedagogical experience, certified didactic training background and an interest in innovative teaching methods.
Motivated by a scientific career at a University of Applied Sciences, you have proven skills in writing funding applications and have obtained several large grants in your name. You have established skills in leading teams and have a list of international and national scientific publications. You have proven and diversified knowledge in statistical analysis (mastery of software such as SPSS, R, and/or Matlab, MAXQDA or NVivo), knowledge in new technologies and/or sustainable development. You have an excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written (level C1 or C2).
You have an open, dynamic personality, you possess good integration and adaptation skills and you enjoy working in a team.
