General

Placing a job advert is simply a matter of carrying out the following steps:

Fill out as much of the form as is necessary to describe your available position and click the "I Agree" button.
Check you are happy with the look of your advert. If not you can go back and edit the advert. When happy Activate the advert. It will then be emailed to all matching candidates and will go live on the site.

Premier Adverts

  • To post a Premier Advert you must have a "Premier Advert" credit.
  • You must enter the "Job Title" and "Job Description". This infomation will be displayed in the job advert lists but not the main advert.
  • The HTML code can contain anything normally found within the BODY tags. Do not include tags such as HTML, HEAD, BODY, TITLE etc.
  • You can include images. When using images do not include any directory path information in the HTML. Only enter the filename.
  • You can upload the image files from the next page.

Private Job Adverts

When creating a job advert, there is an option to make that job advert 'Private', selecting this option hides the advert from your other representatives. This means that only you can preview, edit and extend that advert. In addition to this only you can view applications and reply to candidates. The "Private" job advert option can be selected and de-selected only by the creator of the job advert.

Anonymous Adverts
(Automatically selected with FREE adverts.)

A job advert can be made anonymous by ticking the relevant box when creating or editing a job advert. This hides your logo and Institute Profile from candidates and also prevents the advert being displayed when listing all the organisation's jobs.

Candidate's Online Application Acknowledgement Email:
(Not available with quick job postings.)

The text in this box will be the email message used to acknowledge receipt of applications when a candidate applies for this job. Above this text will be inserted details of the job (including reference numbers). The default message displayed can be altered by changing the 'Candidate's Online Application Acknowledgement Email:' from the custom email templates under the 'Settings' tab. If no template has been created our default template will be used.

Your Online Application Notification Emails

Selecting the various options will alter the emails sent to you after a candidate applies for your job advert. There are two basic types of emails you can receive. The first type is an 'Immediate notification', with this type of email you get sent an email giving you the applications cover letter and cv summary straight after the application is made. To alter the email address where this email will get sent, change the email address in the 'Contact Information' section. With this type of email you can also request for the cv/resume to be included as an attachment. By requesting an attachment the candidate will be prompted to upload a Microsoft Word document when applying for the job. If the candidate has previously uploaded a Word document as part of their CV then the attachment will automatically be sent. For the candidate this option is NOT compulsory and they may not choose or be able to attach a Word document at the time of the application.

NOTE: By selecting this option you choose to accept the risks associated receiving file attachments.

The second type of email is a 'Daily Report'. This type of email is sent once a day with all the applications that applied during the last 24 hours. To alter the email address which these reports are sent, you edit the 'Daily Report Email address' in the 'Online Application Automatic Filtering and Response' section. If left blank your default email address will be used.
You can select either type of report or a combination. If you choose the 'none' option you will not receive any notifications.

Work Permit Required

Selecting a work permit required limits the number of 'job alert agents' by matching only candidates if either their Nationality or Work Authorised Countries match the Work Permit Required countries. In addition to this applications made that do not match the work permit requirements are automatically made 'unsuccessful'. The 'unsuccessful' applications are rejected in batches at various times of the day (week day only).
Remember that if you choose to display your contact details then candidates will be able to bypass this filter by applying to you directly.

Automatically reject all "Received" applications

At the selected time after the closing date all applicants with "Received" Progress status will be made "Unsuccessful" and informed by email.
