The CAME School of Engineering, University of Bristol, is seeking to make an appointment to the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Aerodynamics. A Lecturer post is roughly equivalent to an Assistant or Associate Professor in the US system (depending on career stage); a Senior Lecturer is equivalent to an Associate Professor.
We are looking for a world-class researcher in any area of aerodynamics, but applications are sought particularly in the areas of aeroelasticity, acoustics and experimental methods.
The post-holder will be responsible for her or his own research programme, carry out appropriate administrative tasks and deliver excellence in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The post will be integrated within the Fluids and Aerodynamics Research Group, which has a long history of major contributions in computational and experimental methods.
It brings together fluids and aerodynamics activities across the University of Bristol, and is based in the Faculty of Engineering.
