Strathclyde Global Talent Programme
Be bold. Be innovative. Be a 'Strathclyder'
We are the University of Strathclyde. Our vision is bold and ground breaking, placing us amongst the world's leading international technological universities. We are vibrant, dynamic and passionate about solving the challenges facing society and industry through our cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary research, education and knowledge-exchange with global partners.
Through our Strathclyde Global Talent Programme we will recruit up to 75 outstanding academics - including Strathclyde Chancellor's Fellows - in areas of strategic importance. One area of importance is Energy.
Our work in Energy brings together Strathclyde researchers from across the disciplines to address the many energy challenges of the 21st Century, including reducing the environmental impact of energy use, improving energy efficiency, coping with declining fossil fuel supplies and managing an ageing energy infrastructure. As one of the largest energy research clusters in Europe, and host to the pioneering Technology & Innovation Centre, Strathclyde offers a huge range of leading expertise across a variety of specialist groups along with world-leading laboratories, unique demonstration facilities and cutting-edge analytical tools. Whether through expert consultancy, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) or bespoke research, Strathclyde researchers are routinely involved in highly successful collaborations and stand ready to contribute their expertise for the benefit of our partners in industry, government and wider society.

You will also benefit from research portfolio growth, reduced teaching load and administrative duties and a range of support.
