Senior Lecturer in Finance

The Department of Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) invites applications for a Senior Lectureship position in Finance, to begin in August 2018. The department welcomes applications in asset pricing and financial markets, particularly in market microstructure.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: You should have a Ph.D. in Finance and a publication track-record in top-core finance journals (i.e., the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies). You should be able to pursue your own independent research and develop further publications in top finance journals, offer leadership in education programs, and be able to deliver excellent teaching in both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the areas of asset pricing, commodities markets, and market microstructure. Track-record of excellence in prior related teaching is necessary.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Department of Accounting and Finance is one of the largest departments within LUMS - a world-ranked international business school that has consistently ranked among the UK's top ten universities for nearly two decades.
