DEAN, CORK UNIVERSITY BUSINESS SCHOOL
Building on 100 years of business education, the Cork University Business School (CUBS) is University College Cork's new and innovative Business School. In 2016, CUBS appointed ten professorial level staff to the School and we have now commenced the next stage of our ambitious recruitment strategy seeking to make further professorial appointments.
The University now seeks to make an appointment to the role of Dean, CUBS, seeking an exceptional candidate capable of leading and executing the vision of Cork University Business School. Applications are invited from established scholars with interests in any area of business and a demonstrable and distinguished research profile. The Dean will be a high calibre and experienced academic leader, with strong evidence of strategic vision, motivational leadership and an ability to foster innovative and novel ideas will be essential. With a significant and ambitious vision for CUBS, the Dean will play a pivotal role in leading the process to secure and maintain international accreditation for CUBS.
The Business School is one of the largest University Business Schools in Ireland with the largest number of fulltime undergraduate students, the second largest number of full-time graduate students and the largest amount of research income. The Dean will take a leadership role in charting the School's future strategic direction, promoting CUBS as a business school with a world class reputation for its programmes and research, consistent with the University's overall strategic objectives.
